Tuesday- SUB DAY. I am off campus at a training.

Theatre 1- Work on your monologue: memorize, analysis, research, rehearsal

Directors- work on your One-Act

1- Design One Act

Using all the skills you learned in Semester 1, design your show and write all necessary documents

• Read and code your play for all design elements
• Create a google doc, put all design elements you coded into your doc: WOP, costume, set, props, lights, sound
• Research all design elements in your google doc, at least 3 pics for each element
• Write Seed/Concept/Vision statement
• Write Director’s statement
• Draw set design on ground plan
• Block the show
• Draw all set changes on ground plans

2- Auditions

Begin preparing for auditions. You will have monologues at your auditions but you can also choose to have sides. Begin thinking about what sides you want to see.

Auditions March 21 and March 23

3- Guest Director

Joel Abels will be here Thursday, Feb 9 to work with directors on show design and production
