Every character has a complete backstory. Every actor needs to do research to determine every aspect of their character’s life. Once you choose your monologue you will write a character analysis on your character.
Students need to choose a monologue to memorize, research, write a character analysis and perform in class. You can choose an original piece you wrote or a published piece. The monologue must be between 1-2 minutes in length.

***Second Year students have the option of choosing to present a two person scene with a partner of their choosing. Their partner must be a Second Year student in the program.
